Gostrey Meadows in Surrey was another one of our little pitstops on the way to Butlins in Bognor Regis. We parked in the pay and display parking in the central car park just across the road from Gostrey Meadows (Charges HERE) and then had a little walk along the river Wey, to the large grassed area, which has a pretty good children’s playground with access to paddling in the river, War Memorial and a bandstand, making a perfect spot to have a little picnic, stretch our legs and then continue our journey down.
Its interesting to see how the outlook /architecture of play areas change as you get out of Oxfordshire. The flooring is different coloured, and the main play frame has different climbing structures. There was a nice sandpit with equipment , which despite the cold weather, Ay really enjoyed.
There are small places to eat and drink within easy walking , but we just had our little picnicIf you think something needs updating on this post, please contact us HERE
