Jubilee park is a small playground in Bloxham near Banbury. There is a wooden play frame for older children. It is difficult to describe but has solid wooden logs pieces put together with platforms at different level and monkey bars etc to reach a slide but it is not very challenging and can easily be done by younger children. Ay actually only got on it once and then decided to play hide n seek around the frame instead.. There are lots and lots of swings and that roundabout where two people hang from it opposite each other and it swings around (thanks.. someone just pointed out to me its called a Pendulum Swing- makes sense!)
The playground flooring is a mix of grass and rubber matting under some pieces of play equipment.
The toddler area is fenced separately with gated entrance and has a small slide, stand up, springers, roundabout, sit in sea saw and a climbing frame
The surrounding vast green space is perfect for ball games, kites flying, Frisbee, running about etc! There are many picnic benches about.
Ay also spotted the Aldous drive park from the road as we were heading over here, which is worth checking if you are in the area, but I wouldn’t recommend driving only to it.
