We were invited for a visit to Jump in Trampoline Park, which is situated just outside the main town centre on an Industrial Estate in a HUGE warehouse, about 50 min drive from Oxford. We could hear the music (not too loud) and some flashing lights from the car park and Ay was jumping even before going in.
Children 4-5 years can choose either the mini jump & soft play area or open jump, which can be booked for 1, 1.5 or 2 hours. We went for the open jump on Sunday and absolutely loved it. As everywhere else, you have to sign a waiver and watch a short safety briefing, which can be done online (accessible from your phone via the email confirmation as well). You are given a coloured wrist band and anti-slip socks (included in the price which I loved as most parks charge for it separately).
There is a lot of fun waiting for you. We jumped on the floor/ angled on-the-wall trampolines, onto the giant air bag from the top (which looked scary initially and took a lot of persuasion but we did it in the end), ducked and chased at Dodgeball, tried (and failed miserably) at somersaults on tumble tracks and raced down the slides. There are the usual slides (tunnel and vertical ones), but the VERTICAL DROP SLIDE deserves a special mention (which we chickened out on). I saw some adventurous kids do it wearing safety helmet, and applauded for them, but would never have considered doing it myself. We saw others trying the balance beam but I don’t think we would have managed, so didn’t venture that way. Theres the racing tower as well, where you climb up on ropes to the top of a tower. Ay managed to do a few bits in here
Toddlers (Only under 5s in this area) have their own soft play, Little Tikes buggies, ball pit and mini trampolines, which is cordoned off from the bigger trampolines. Parents aren’t allowed to jump here. Toddler Time sessions run mainly during term time and also some limited sessions in the holidays. When Toddler Time is on, only toddlers have access to Jump and Play area which will be closed to anyone who doesn’t have a Toddler Time ticket. how cool is that!!
⭐️ ⭐️ VERDICT ⭐️ ⭐️
If you fancy trampolining with other adventurous bits and pieces, then this place is for you. You will have happy, excited, exhausted and sweaty kids, who will not want to leave.
