We parked on road side (Oxford road) but the gate to the Old Marston playground was closed at this end. We ran down and then up through the underground tunnel (which had beautiful graffiti) to come to the other entrance, which was open.
The playground is fenced and is part grass and part soft rubber surface. It has a climbing fort with two slides, climbing wall, spiral ring, monkey bars and ladders. There is also that revolving thing, where two people hang from the opposite sides and move around (picture included). In addition, there is also a sit in sea saw for toddlers, springers, round about, an obstacle course, spinning bucket, zip wire and swings.
The play area is surrounded by fenced green fields, which had a separate climbing walls for older children. There is a basket ball court and table tennis tables too
