First of all, let me clarify that actors provide a theatrical interpretation of Peter and his friends representing their personalities and character traits as closely as possible, which was fun enough, but would have been better if there was an actual Peter rabbit costume character. They set the tone, as you go through the woodland to decorate your Christmas Elf biscuits with Mrs.Tiggy-Winkle and having some fun with the quirky Nutkin. You then meet the cunning Mr. Tod on your way out to meet Santa and receive your gift. You are only allowed to have photos with Santa through the official photographer and then buy it, which always adds to the cost. The entire activity including meeting Santa lasts about 30 minutes and the train ride (costs extra) probably just a minute may be, so we were over and done with pretty quickly. If you are travelling from Oxford just for this, then better combine it with something else.
The centre is beautifully decorated otherwise with lots of nice photo opportunities. We parked just oppose Next , and the grotto was just a few yards away
