Shotteswell children’s playing fields has a park with a tree house for a climbing frame which looks pretty cool, especially with the beach hut style picnic benches on the side. The park is quite unique but unfortunately, the equipment is looking pretty run down and tired. I hope someone realises it before it gets worse!
You can access the tree house by climbing on ladders, or via the cargo net or climbing wall and/ or monkey bars. There is also a multi person sea saw, zipwire, swings, springers, a small standalone slide and a fitness trail.
I wouldn’t go here specifically to visit this park. You can combine this with a visit to the Burton Dassett Hills Country Park (which is one of my dream places!), Farnborough village children’s play park (which has an amazing play castle ) or the NT property – Farnborough Hall or even Upton house and Gardens.
Alternatively, have a look at other play areas in and around Banbury.
