I will start off by saying the Stanton Harcourt play park is not easy to find but once we got there, we liked it.
We were actually in search of the “jubilee park”, so we kept going round and round in circle to try to find it (but failed miserably- I am not sure now if it exists!). In the end, I just parked the car on the road and headed towards a green space on the map, to come across “the Leys” instead, as we walked on the pedestrian path past the school.
It is actually a nice little park, which gives off North Bicester type park vibes.. lol..you must think what am I on about but if you have been to Somerton or Hethe etc, you will know what I am talking about.. The wooden climbing structures in those parks is quite similar to this one and this one also has a tractor with a lovely trailer on the back with seating. The climbing frame has climbing wall, cargo net, pulley like rope, huge tyres, balancing beams, fireman pole and wobbly bridge
There is not much for the very little ones to do- not even a baby swing, so it is most suited for the intermediate age group. The surrounding field is ideal for ball games. On the right, is a little woodland but as it was getting dark (as you can tell from the pictures), we did not venture that way.
