So we accidentally discovered the Wendlebury playground while I was trying to bypass slow traffic on A34 enroute Bicester. My son, who is a hawk when it comes to spotting play equipment/play ground from a distance (although can not see things right infront of him otherwise), cried out loud when he saw this from the road. There was no one in sight, so I decided to stop.
I was pleasantly surprised with what was on offer with a small place of its size. A reasonable toddler obstacle course and climbing frame/slide (with few different entrances , which could work well for children of different ages). There were also swings, see saw and and an area for basketball and football. A stream running nearby and picnic tables made for a perfect outing for outdoor picnic
If you live nearby in the Bicester area, then it’s a good alternative to the usual ones
