Shop till you drop while your children play in the Play fort in the Bicester Village kids Play area (if someone could look after them) or offer this as a bribe for good behaviour (whatever works for you!!)..
Located at the far end, near the children’s polo shop, you may miss it if you are not looking for it, as its a bit set back. Good thing, its fenced, so once the kids are in, they are in.. Bad thing, its near the ice cream parlour (with 3.5 £ for a single scoop cone, so though the play area is free, it will cost you big time (if you know what I mean!).
It is like one dreamy castle. It does not look too big but actually when you get inside, it is much bigger than you think, with lots of climbing stuff, tunnels, slides, bridges, climbing wall and platforms. Despite the limited space, my son kept running around playing hide n seek.
I thought it will be a quickie, so I even left our dinner on stove (we live very nearby so please don’t judge me and hubby was home) but we actually spent about an hour here (never underestimate what will catch your little one’s imagination)
Eat and play soft play at Bicester Avenue is about 5minutes drive from here, which can also serve as a bribe or you may leave your children there if you are lucky enough for someone to mind them for you while you shop.
