My hawk eyed son spotted this from the road as we were travelling to Thame to meet friends, so we made a quick detour (otherwise he would have sulked the whole time and made our adult meeting miserable).
Anyways, it was a great detour in my opinion. It is a small place but has an amazing play fort on top of a small mound, which is actually built like a fort with cannon ball gun at the top and climbing ropes, cargo nets and ladders below to get into the fort. The place calls for imagination to run wild as your kids attempt to fight with the enemies. I have promised my son we will go here again with our “guns” (and soon- weather permitting).
There is another toddler frame as well for the little ones but tots can climb the fort one through the steps too and have fun with the bigger kids. There is also a sit-in see saw and some swings and thats about it.
The play area is fenced surrounded by a big grass field (with basketball net), but children were actually cycling on the field (practising cross country I suppose)
