Children’s play village, Warwick, is just TOO GOOD! I can not recommend it more! o well worth the drive from Oxford
First of all, thumbs up to one of the most friendliest and warm welcoming team I have ever come across. They showed us to the Bistro where you can take a seat, settle in and flip off your shoes. The Play Makers then invite children to the “Village” with a big ‘Hello’ and welcome song, and take a few minutes to introduce themselves.
Without further a do, it is then time for 2.5 hours of free play and letting your imagination run wild. with some interaction with the playmakers along the way. The place is not huge but there is so much to do. There are three play sessions most days, lasting 2.5hrs, after which they close for 30 minutes to tidy up and clean. We spent the entire session there and had so much fun (watch our reel for real time action).
Areas for play include:
☕️ Tea room
🎭 village theatre
🏤 Post office
💇♀️ Beauty salon
🍦 icecream parlour
🧱 construction area
🧒 Baby area
All rooms are equipped with toys, props and accessories to wear etc and the attention to detail is astonishing. I was so so surprised to find a tuning fork in the hospital (even real doctors struggle to find them). Ay spent almost half an hour at the vets/dog grooming and then at the post office- both things I never thought he would be interested in. These places do give you an amazing insight into your kids character.
If you’ve got a toddler and a baby, this place is perfect for you. The baby area is right in the centre, so you can easily keep an eye on your tot as they run around. If you fancy catch up with a friend, then this is the place for you, as you can sit and chat while still able to see your kids play.

They recommend on their website to not use the postcode in the sat nav as The Warwick Bypass (A46) runs parallel to the private lane, but the play village can not be reached from the A46. If you are using Google Maps, the directions should help you arrive with ease at The Play Village, which is what we did. If you want to save phone battery, just come straight down M40 and use google maps for the final 2-3 miles, or leave at Junction 15 and exit the roundabout at the junction for Stratford A46. You quickly approach a smaller roundabout please take the exit signposted B4463 to Norton Lindsey/Henley in Arden. Follow this road all the way along to the T-junction and turn right towards Warwick. They are located approximately 1 mile along this road on a small private lane off Hampton Road on the left. SEE DETAILS ON THEIR WEBSITE HERE
