So I will admit we were going somewhere else and ended up here (don’t ask me how as even I don’t know 🤷♀️ ) but by God, Dinton Pastures country park is awesome at another level.. and I absolutely mean it! To say this is one of the best play parks/nature reserves/lake/walks I have ever been is an understatement. IT HAS EVERYTHING TO PLEASE ANYONE!!
🧗♀️ It’s a climbers delight with very different equipment to anywhere else. The play area is sanded, so you can enjoy as much sand as you want, and there is a seperate sand pit too. Giant nest towers, monkey bars, funnel trap nests, secret hobbit holes, giant swinging and climbing logs, den-building structures, and a woodland obstacle course. There is a dedicated space for toddlers featuring swings, wide slide, a willow maze and a huge giant log. A large storytelling area has been created using giant wooden eggs
🌳🤾If you like to walk, then you will love to explore the many walking routes around the pretty woodland, meadows, and lakes (many are buggy friendly)
💦 🦢If you love water, the beautiful lake with the duck/geese/swans will take your breath away.
🦅 If you are a bird watcher, you will constantly hear the chirp (it doesn’t stop at all! ) and will actually see birds sitting in their nests.
🐰 If you like wildlife, you will see wild bunnies running around
🚴♀️ 🛴If you like to cycle, the paths are wide enough for bike rides
I can go on and on.. just drive down and see for yourself. It’s well worth the drive
