So this was our first theatre with Ay and I must say I was really really nervous.. will he like it? Will he be able to sit down for that long? Will he find it intimidating? Boring?
I seriously shouldn’t have worried. From the word go, he was thrilled. It was a lively show, with dance and song and lots of LOL moments. It’s Friday night and Ben knows that means only one thing – staying with Granny! There will be cabbage soup, cabbage pie and cabbage cake and Ben knows one thing for sure – it’s going to be sooooooooo boring! But what Ben doesn’t know is that Granny has a secret – and Friday nights are about to get more exciting than he could ever imagine, as he embarks on the adventure of a lifetime with his very own Gangsta Granny!
You gotta love theatre- there’s nothing like live entertainment with audience reaction and I must say the seats were comfy too 🙂 The show is funny but also has some very moving and truthful things about family relationships.
It’s just over two hours long (with an interval break) and Ay did get a bit restless towards the end, as it was closing in on bed time as well but apart from that, he really enjoyed the show.
The theatre is HUGE. We had to show proof of COVID status on arrival at the theatre
