If you want something cheap this half term, then head to the horsepath scare crow trail. We combined it with the Dino/Halloween trail at Cutteslow park (see link to post HERE) and made a lovely day out of it.
It seriously is pretty cool and must do if you live around the area. Hats off to the residents who have pulled it together. There were so many families out, with excited children enjoying the characters.
💴 Map available for £1 from Horspath Hub from 9am – 4pm. The money raised go to The Horspath Hub and St Giles Church.
🗺 There are 54 scarecrows to find
🗺 Follow the map around the beautiful village to spot the themed scarecrows.
🗺 Each of them has a question related to the fictional characters inspired by books/tv shows, so you can all have a go at the answer (some were harder than others).it’s pretty cool for younger children who may have read all the books
🗺 Vote for your favourite for a chance to win a prize
🗺 We spent a good 1.5 hour here with a fair bit of walking, some uphill, so if your lil one tires easily, bring along their stroller/scooties. The trail is mostly do-able with buggy but terrain will be bumpy. Alternatively you could do part of it by car
