Launton play park, Bicester
30 August 2021
We came by Launton play park in Bicester as it was adjacent to the Launton ground, where my husband was getting vaccinated. The park is basic with a little bit to hold your attention and you have to cross the big field to reach to it.
There were lots of gliders flying around. I am not sure whether they were practising for some aerial show or if they do it routinely in Bicester heritage centre (it was 1pm Friday) but it was a lot of fun watching those.
As for the park, there are two climbing frames (one for older children and another one for toddlers which had a s slide and tunnel), but the big one was not suitable for the mid age group (3-6 years).
There is a nest swing, older children and toddler swings, revolving spider web, see saw, springy see saw and zipwire. There is a huge field around for ball games and walks
