The Pavilion Park in Cholsey is a big green space with two separate play areas. They are quite basic if I am completely honest and the older kids area can definitely do with some improvement. The skate park is the only saving grace I think
The one nearest to the car park is fully fenced and geared towards toddlers with a climbing frame, Spinning bucket, round about, sit in see saw, swings, picnic benches, and a train for imaginative play
Once you cross over the fields to the far side, there is a skate park and play area for older children with slide atop a small mound, a climbing pyramid, zip wire and nest swing. There are tennis courts, basketball and football goal posts also.
Google tells me there is a stream running through it and has a wooded area adjacent, via which open countryside can be accessed. There were many dog walkers heading that way, though we didn’t go there.
