The climbing frame at Oving play park in Aylesbury is awesome and so very different from the usual ones. There are two tunnels connected to each other, which then go to fort shaped dens, through a cargo/net bridge on to a slide, which was pretty long. It is made of metal, so can be very hot on a sunny day. There were multiple ways to climb the frame but do-able for young children as it is pretty safe. There was also the Pirate ship which reminded me of the one in forest hill (probably same designers 🤣). There are the usual swings, Sit in sea saw and round about.
The park is fenced which is always a bonus. It also has a zipwire which was not the fastest one in the world but for some reason is located outside the fenced area of the park. I wonder why though?
There is only one picnic bench, so it might be a struggle to finding seating space if there are many parents around, but we had the park to ourselves, so I actually enjoyed sitting there.
The park is located just behind their village hall. There are Tennis courts and table tennis table near the entrance. The surrounding fields had basketball and football goals.
