Hands down one of the most unique parks of all, aka, Finstock play park, Oxford. A massive play fort, built like a real life castle, straight from a Disney movie. You can just let your imagination run wild and what’s even better, it is so safe, I don’t think you can fall off from here..
Believe me, my description does not do justice to it, you have to see it to understand what it is all about. I would have loved to play hide and seek here or play fight with enemies (we are taking our water guns next time!!). There’s an obstacle course and swings outside the fort. Toddlers have their own little fort with smaller bridges, little tunnels/hiding places and even height appropriate monkey bars (never seen these before)
There are sheltered seating places and picnic benches, so wont even matter too much if there are some showers

It’s not easy to find. We parked on the road near the school, then went through the alleyway on the side of the school. it looks like you are lost but keep going until you see the park on the side
🚘 Free parking on road side but please be considerate
🚻 no Toilets or baby facilities
🍕 no refreshments on site
🐕 Dogs not allowed in play area
🦽Buggy accessible at entrance, after which it may be hard to push over the wood chip, but you could just park in under one of the shelters
