There are two tracks. There is a tarmaced “learn to ride” track for beginners which aids youngsters to learn to cycle on-road safely, but also goes on to a round track for off-road learning. There is a separate, longer, rocky and bumpy adventure “skills trail with timer” for adventurous and experienced cyclists, which even goes through a small woodland area. There is nothing else like this in the region that I know of and is an ideal way to access traffic free cycling. I was really impressed (as you can probably tell ) and they are free to enter.
The play area is pretty good too. It has a treehouse like climbing frame for older children with cargo nets, monkey bars, fireman’s pole and balancing logs ultimately leading to vertical slide. There is also a good onstacle course with balancing logs, monkey bars, swinging logs and cargo nets.
Toddlers have their own smaller frame. Zip wire, accessible round about, Witches hat, wide slide on top of a small mound, sunk in trampoline and swings complete the park
