This park in Charlbury, Oxford has two amazing play forts with slide and climbing ladders /ropes/fireman pole as well as a wobbly bridge. The two are connected by an obstacle course which has two prongs with different level of difficulty, so could either go to the other fort or just do the obstacles- some. bits challenging for a 4 year old but still lots of fun
Toddlers have their own play fort with slide. In addition, there were Swings, sit in see saw, Standing revolving thing, Tractor for imaginative play and a pretty fast zip wire. The entire place as bustling with people which was great to see. It truly looked like a “community centre” the way it is meant to be.
There are also football posts and basketball court on site, which were all busy with people. Tennis courts can now be booked through the booking page or by ringing the Community Centre. The cost is £5 for non-members and it’s free for members of the Tennis Club. Table tennis can be played on the patio or in the sports hall.

It’s not easy to find. We parked in the village hall/library. There is a small alley way to your left, if you keep going that way towards the football and sports club, you will see the park on the right
🚘 Free parking
🚻 no Toilets or baby facilities
🍕 there was a little refreshment truck outside, the sports club also had a little cafe, though we did not go in. Co-op and the town centre is quite close by- so plenty of choices
🐕 Dogs not allowed in play area
🧺 lots of picnic benches
