Located just behind the West Oxfordshire Community Centre is the Botley Park, which has a playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a bowling club. The huge vast green fields are ideal for other ball games or just for running.
The enclosed playground is part grass and part soft fall rubber. It has two climbing frames- one with a spiral tunnel, climbing wall, climbing cargo net and monkey bars; aimed at older children (although Ay could do most of it apart from the monkey bars). The other one is aimed at smaller children and includes a climbing cargo net, tunnel with climbing rope and another pole with small places for climbing up. I was a bit surprised at the style of the toddler slide, as the top bit was cut out with a slight space on one side (picture included). I am not sure what is the purpose of it and although it is small, it may be slightly risky for smaller children, so please do supervise your children when they go on it (especially the first time).
In addition, there are swings, a spiral round about, one of those standing round about/revolving things, springers and picnic benches
