Brightwell-cum-Sotwell park near Wallingford is another lovely playground for kids in this area. The entire park is fenced and clearly divided into two mini sections. I am so gutted I couldn’t take pictures of the toddler area as there were too many children in there. I tried because I absolutely loved it (and so did my son) but it just wasn’t possible to avoid other kids getting into it. Must be childminder outing time , not sure why, but there were little ones everywhere.
The toddler had a decent climbing frame with slide and a very interesting toddler obstacle course (which I don’t usually encounter). There was also another area like a puppet theatre. My son used it as his “shop” and later ice cream parlour. It was good to see his imagination growing
The bigger children area had its own climbing frame and it was surrounded by an Obstacle course too. There was no-one else on this side apart from us , so that’s where almost of the pics are from.
Once you leave the play area, you come to a huge grass field with basketball posts and another interesting post (I don’t know if this particular game has a name but must be something like basketball). Across the field is the zipwire and a hill with tunnel and balancing logs
The following parks are in close vicinity of each other
