Heyford Park play area is a small, fenced children’s playground surrounded by houses. We visited it while house-hunting with a friend and took a few pictures (I do a lot of things for the website, haha). This playground is strictly for the local community.
The playground has some tarmac surface under a toddler/small children’s play frame with a slide, climbing cargo net, and a standing spinner. There are also small mounds for rolling down, which Ay used to love when he was younger. These mounds are surrounded by a crawling tube and stand alone caterpillar and snail for climbing. That’s about it!
There is a bigger playground in the Village Green. You can find more information about it HERE. You can also drive to the older, but quite beautiful, wooden playground in Upper Heyford, which has been reviewed HERE.
