Upper Heyford play park is one of the best playground around Bicester region. It has all the usual stuff but what sets it apart from the others is a decent enough wooden climbing frame (with wobbly bridge, ropes, climbing wall, slide and tunnels) little tree houses (great for imaginative play) and a good obstacle course. The zip wire was functioning but was hard to push to its original place, though once the kids were on it, it seemed to go pretty ok, so may be it was just me
The surrounding field was ideal for ball games. There is also a nearby basketball court

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO:
We did this as a part of our park hopping adventure- Four parks all within 2-3 miles of each other. We drove from one to another. I don’t think it will be possible as a walk but who knows someone may dare someday!
